Palpa, 7 September. One thousand 260 hectares of land in the district in the fiscal year 2072/73 to 14 thousand metric tons of ginger produced in 1 9 7. One thousand 262 hectares in 2071/72 fiscal year 14 thousand 853 metric tonnes of ginger produced in the District Agriculture Development Office, Senior Agriculture Development Officer Rajendra Prasad Koirala said. Khanigaon district, Tallo, Palungmainadi, throw, pocket region is considered key for siluva and Bhairavsthan ginger. Farmers are taken as income of ginger crop. District produced three thousand 752 metric tons are exported to India and other countries the ginger. Now Rs 80 to Rs 100 per kg in the market ginger is being sold.
